Cime Dentaire installs, maintains and repairs the equipment of dental practices: treatment units, imaging, sterilisation, IT, plant room. Founded in Clermont-Ferrand in 2003, the company now serves some 1,500 practices across the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Centre-Val de Loire regions of France, from five branches.
We are a regional player, and that is a choice: structured enough to keep our commitments — spare parts in stock, trained technicians, financing — and close enough for each branch to be a small, tight-knit team, the size of a dental practice, that knows every practitioner by name. Independent, led by Emmanuel Forgeot d'Arc, who acquired the company in 2022, and Ludovic Larivière, partner and head of sales, Cime Dentaire holds one simple conviction: the service delivered to the practitioner comes before everything else.

Twenty years of growth, and it is accelerating.
Company founded
Launch of Conception, Installation, Matériel et Equipement (CIME) dentaire in Clermont-Ferrand, Auvergne.
Expansion to Chambéry
Dental Concept, founded in 1992, is acquired by Cime Dentaire. A close-knit, experienced team keeps growing in Savoie.
Activity grows in Bourges and the Allier
A technical workshop is set up, and a mobile team covers Bourges and the Allier, with support from Clermont-Ferrand.
IRM dentaire is created
A dedicated company is launched to develop the business in the Loire (42) and Haute-Loire (43) départements.
Change of ownership
Cime dentaire, IRM and Dental Concept are acquired by Emmanuel Forgeot d'Arc — with a plan to strengthen and grow the business. Buy-out supported by Réseau Entreprendre.
Legal simplification
Dental Concept and IRM dentaire merge into Cime dentaire, for operational and commercial simplicity. The company's visual identity is renewed.
A branch opens in Valence
Acquisition of Société de Dépannage Rhône Alpes (SDRA), the local leader for 30 years in the Drôme, the Ardèche and south of Lyon. Integrated into Cime.
Supported by Bpifrance
Cime dentaire is selected for the Bpifrance growth accelerator in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
New management system
The company shifts gear and adopts a modern management system shared by all its branches, to ease day-to-day operations and raise the quality of collaboration and execution.
Acquisition of fellow Auvergne firm GDD
Acquisition of Groupe Dépannage Dentaire (GDD), a long-standing peer in Clermont-Ferrand and Bourges and service provider to the region's dental faculties and university hospital. Integrated into Cime at the end of 2025.
Stronger governance
With the support of APIA, Yannick Chamming's joins the Cime dentaire project as Non-Executive Director, to support the growth trajectory and the strengthening of the company's business model.
A branch opens in Bourges
Takeover and refurbishment of a well-located site on the route de la Charité in Bourges. The local team is strengthened.
GDD joins Cime Dentaire
The teams, customers and maintenance contracts of Groupe Dépannage Dentaire are integrated into Cime Dentaire, which becomes the single point of contact for the region's practices, dental faculties and university hospital.
